Thanks to your participation in the first Miles for Mia Run/Walk, we raised over $7,000 for Genetic Disease Foundation. My granddaughter, Mia Jeanette Walts, was just 2 ½ years old when she died on October 29, 2011 from a genetic disease called Niemann-Pick A. Please plan on joining us again as we honor Mia’s life and help in the research to prevent genetic diseases in the future.
